Because, to be honest, I haven't known exactly where home is for a long time.
But I know for sure that there are places that remain a part of you forever."
Мені здається, що дорога додому — це не про кілометри.
Бо якщо чесно, я вже давно не знаю, де саме мій дім.
Але я точно знаю, що є місця, які назавжди залишаються частиною тебе.
Для мене таким місцем став 7 Склад.
Я пам’ятаю відкриття. Пам’ятаю, як прогулювала там пари з академії. Як сиділа з кавою і малювала ескізи перед сесією. Як святкувала гарні оцінки.
Як у Макдональдсі поруч святкувала свої 10 років. Як просто приходила туди без причини.
Я зрозуміла, що майже кожен важливий момент мого життя чомусь був пов’язаний із цим місцем.
Тому ця колекція — не про одяг.
Це, скоріше, спроба зібрати свої спогади в одне ціле.
Кожна модель — це окрема зупинка на маршруті.
Не випадково їх сім.
"For me, that place was "7 Sklad."
I remember the opening.
I remember skipping classes at the academy to go there.
Sitting with a coffee, sketching before exams.
Celebrating good grades.
Celebrating my 10th birthday at the McDonald’s nearby.
Just dropping by for no reason at all.
I realized that almost every significant moment of my life was, in some way, connected to this place.
That’s why this collection isn’t about clothes.
It is, rather, an attempt to piece my memories together into a whole.
Each piece represents a specific stop along the journey.
It is no coincidence that there are seven of them."
Колись 7 Склад отримав свою назву, бо тут було сім закладів.
У мене теж сім історій.
Сім моментів.
Сім речей, які зробили мене мною.
У цій колекції багато моїх справжніх записів, конспектів, оцінок, академічних ескізів, дитячих малюнків, фотографій і навіть почерк людей, без яких мене сьогодні не було б.
""7 Sklad" once got its name because there were seven establishments located there.
I have seven stories, too.
Seven moments.
Seven things that made me who I am.
This collection holds many of my successful childhood records, competition entries, grades, academic sketches, drawings, and photographs—and even the handwriting of the people without whom I wouldn't be who I am today."
Найважливіша річ у цій історії —
костюм мого дідуся.
Він усе життя малював.
Коли я вступила в академію, він переживав мої сесії більше, ніж я сама.
Допомагав робити диплом.
Навчив мене не боятися пробувати.
Коли я не знала, як щось пошити, він сідав поруч.
Коли втомлювалася — підтримував.
Коли не вірила в себе — вірив за двох.
Тому його почерк, його записи з морського блокнота, його вірші і мої оцінки тепер живуть на одному костюмі.
Мені здається, це найчесніша подяка, яку я могла зробити.
Усі речі намальовані вручну.
Мені було важливо, щоб було видно руку.
Щоб залишилися нерівні лінії, випадкові мазки, помилки.
Бо саме вони нагадують, що за кожною річчю стоїть жива історія.
Destination: HOME — це маршрут.
Не той, який показує навігатор.
А той, який проходить людина, коли згадує, ким вона була.
І, можливо, розуміє, що дім — це не точка на карті.
"The most important thing in this story is my grandfather's costume.
He drew all his life.
When I entered the academy, he experienced my sessions more than I did myself.
He helped me make my diploma.
He taught me not to be afraid to try.
When I didn't know how to sew something, he sat next to me.
When I got tired, he supported me.
When I didn't believe in myself, he believed in me for two.
That's why his handwriting, his notes from a sea notebook, his poems and my grades now live on one costume.
I think this is the most honest thank you I could give.
All things are hand-drawn.
It was important to me that the hand was visible.
So that the uneven lines, random strokes, mistakes remained.
Because they are the ones that remind us that behind every thing there is a living story.
Destination: HOME is a route.
Not the one that the navigator shows.
But the one that a person goes through when they remember who they were.
And, perhaps, they understand that home is not a point on the map."
